Greenville Outside Jobs Required Layers, Preparation Friday

As temperatures dropped Friday in eastern carolina and the snow ans sleet fell most people stayed bundled up and warm inside. For others who work outside the show must go on.

From mail carriers to construction workers, those who spent the day working outside in Greenville Friday were feeling the effects of the freezing temperatures. Workers made sure to add extra layers and keep warm drinks nearby. While it was cold Friday, workers said Thursday's winds were much worse.

"I'm telling you it was cold. With that shovel in your hand, and you digging. You start to sweat and that wind starts to blow. Ooo! It's cold!"said Maurice Johnson who was working digging on a construction site in Greenville Friday.
