Goldsboro Woman Charged For Break-Ins

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office arrested a Goldsboro woman for break-ins in the Seven Spring, Hwy 111 and Pikeville areas of Wayne County.

28-year-old Amy Ortiz was charged with four counts each of breaking, entering, larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen property, and one count of attempted breaking, entering with the intent to commit a larceny. Her bond was set at $60,000.

Detectives say people reported a suspicious burgundy PT Cruiser in their area, and lawmen connected it to the string of break-ins. Some property has been recovered, and more arrest warrants are pending.
