Goldsboro Man Charged With Rape

Goldsboro police have charged a man with rape after an assault was reported this weekend at a local motel.

23-year-old Sean Best of Dollard Town Road in Goldsboro is charged with first degree rape, first degree sex offense and 2nd degree kidnapping. Police say Best committed those crimes against a woman he knew before the incident.

Best was jailed under a $500,000 bond.
