ECU and Greenville Police are teaming up Wednesday evening to help maintain the busy streets Halloween night with the help of new surveillance gear.

With police expecting 8-12 thousand people in downtown Greenville, officers will wear cameras to help monitor crowds on eyeglasses equipped with cameras. Cameras are also installed on utility poles downtown.

At 2:00 p.m. Wednesday the four blocks surrounding East Fifth Street and Cotanche Street will be blocked off. Police also plan on having traffic check points throughout the city.
