Foreclosure Study Compares Housing Market Now From 4 Years Ago

A new study released this morning is looking at the health of the US housing market compared to four years ago.

RealtyTrac, the online marketplace for foreclosure properties, analyzed five key metrics impacting housing in more than 900 counties nationwide over the past four years. The report found that 65 percent of local housing markets nationwide are worse off than four years ago

The report looked at average home prices, unemployment, foreclosure inventory, foreclosure starts and share of distressed sales.
