Fog is delaying the start of the school day Monday for students in four counties.
A two-hour fog delay was issued early Monday morning for Bertie County Schools, Edenton Chowan County Schools and Hertford County Public Schools. The delay in Gates County is one hour.
Fog has developed in many areas, though it's not expected to be as thick or widespread as the foggy conditions experienced over the weekend.
