Father And Son Arrested For Trafficking Drugs

The Pitt County Sheriff's Office has arrested a father and son on charges of trafficking heroin and opium.

The pair was arrested on January 31st by Pitt County deputies after a three month long investigation.

73-year-old Eugene Hamilton of Greenville and 52-year-old Floyd Hamilton of Grimesland are both charged with trafficking heroin and opium and possession with intent to sell and deliver.

Both were taken to the Pitt County Detention Center. The father’s secured bond was set at $50,000 and the son’s was set at $150,000 secured.
