The Highway Patrol have identified a man killed Saturday morning after they say he was hit by a vehicle when he was retrieving a trash can that fell from his truck.
Sgt. Gary Weaver with the Highway Patrol says that it happened around 5:50 Saturday morning. We’re told that 51-year-old Kenan Fleming of Greenville was driving southwest on J.C. Galloway Road near Mobleys Bridge Road in Pitt County when he lost a trash can from his truck.
