ECU Gamers Win National Tournament; Score Computers For University

5 ECU students that made it to the finals of a popular video game tournament, are coming back from California as champions.

Matt and Michael Mangelli, Cliff Stubbs, Stephan Loehr and Nate Kellum are members of the ECU Gaming club and represented the school in computer tech developer nVidia's Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 tournament. Matt Mangelli tells WITN the team defeated the University of Southern California for the prize.

In return, Matt Mangelli says that ECU will be getting 6 computers. The competitors will be bringing home computers of their own, in addition to bragging rights.

The tournament took place at nVidia's headquarters in Santa Clara, California.
