Duplin County Native Appears On "The Voice"

A young man from Duplin County sang on "The Voice” on WITN tonight. I.J. Quinn took the stage to be in the national spotlight for a few minutes, but no judge chose him to be on their team.

He told WITN via Facebook: "I wasn't disappointed at all! I was happy to be a part of the show, and I have already been working very hard on new music for my band."

Quinn is from Warsaw, but lives in Wilmington. According to a StarNews Online article he has spent time in Chicago playing with his eight-piece band and some of his music ended up used on the NBC show "Friday Night Lights."

Quinn's Facebook page says he attended North Duplin High School. You can find his music on YouTube. Click on the link below for a sample.
