Drop Out Rate Continues To Fall In Pitt County Schools

The Pitt County School District says it has met it's goal of reducing the drop out rate faster than expected.

The drop out rate at Pitt County Schools has decreased over 50 percent in the past three years according to a data report released to the State Board of Education Thursday.

The drop out rate decreased over 20 percent this past year. The school system met their goal of reducing the dropout rate by 50% in just four school years.
