Downtown New Bern Pharmacy Burglarized

Police are investigating a pharmacy break-in late Monday night in downtown New Bern.

Someone broke the front glass at Bynum's Drug Store on Middle Street around 10:30 p.m. Police say medications were taken in the burglary.

Police do not have any suspects in the break-in.

Another pharmacy in New Bern was broken into early Monday morning as well. Police say the Realo Discount Drugs off MLK Boulevard had prescription drugs taken too.

Last week someone broke into Tom's Coins and Antiques, right down the street from Bynum's, as well as the Realo Discount Drugs in Bridgeton. At the time, police said they believed those two break-ins were related.
