UPDATE: Missing Pitt County Man Believed To Be In NYC

Deputies Searching For Missing Pitt County Man

Pitt County deputies say a Greenville man reported missing six weeks ago was caught on video getting on a bus to New York.

45-year-old Konti Zinn of Bunch Lane was last seen in Greenville October 2nd. Captain Paula Dance with the Pitt County Sheriff's Office says detectives found surveillance video of Zinn at the Greyhound Bus station in Greenville getting on a bus to New York City. Captain Dance says they tracked the use of Zinn's food stamp card to the New York City area and N.Y.P.D. found he was listed as sleeping at two New York shelters, but have not been able to make contact with Zinn.

Deputies say they need your help in locating a missing Pitt County man.

Konti Zinn was last seen early on October 1st. The 45-year-old Zinn lives on Bunch Lane in Greenville and some witnesses say the man was seen the next day near Sheetz on 10th Street in Greenville.

Deputies say they have ruled out all possible leads and now are asking for the public's help. Zinn is 5'7" tall and weighs approximately 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing black shorts and a tan shirt.

If anyone has information about Zinn they should call the Pitt County Sheriff's Office at 252-830-4141.
