Dad Charged With Witness Intimidation In Son's Case

The father of a teen who was charged with breaking into a Greenville house is accused of intimidating a witness in the case.

Greenville police on Thursday arrested Tony Conner on a charge of intimidating a state's witness.

Police say Conner's son was arrested back in November for breaking into a neighbor's house on Deveron Street. Detectives say they learned the father had made verbal threats to the witness to keep them from testifying while the case was being heard in juvenile court.

The 32-year-old Conner was jailed on a $100,000 bond.
