A man who has three pending indecent exposure charges is back in jail, this time accused of exposing himself to three children under the age of 16.
Robert Springle, who lives in the Paradise East subdivision outside of Newport, was arrested on Friday and jailed on a $50,000 bond.
Carteret County deputies say Springle is accused of standing completely naked in front of a window last Monday.
The 60 year old man has three prior indecent exposure charges awaiting trial. He was arrested a year ago for allegedly standing in his yard and wearing an opened robe while touching himself in front of two women. Then in November 2011, Springle was arrested for doing the same thing to two other women and a child where he used to live.
Springle, who is a registered sex offender, was originally convicted of engaging in a lewd and lascivious act of indecent exposure in front of a child in 1988 and again in 2004 in Florida.
