Crews Respond To Wednesday Morning Crashes In Pamlico, Jones Counties

Crews responded to a couple of crashes in Eastern Carolina Wednesday morning, but thankfully there are no reports of serious injuries at this time.

In Pamlico County, crews were directing traffic on Highway 55 between Oakwood Drive and Savannah Road after a two-vehicle crash right before 7:30 a.m. It happened on 55 between Oakwood Drive and Savannah Road. Trooper Rink said a driver pulled out of his driveway in front of a truck. Rink said the man backing out had an obstructed view of the roadway with commercial vehicles parked on the side of the road. There were no injuries reported in that wreck.

In Jones County, a two-vehicle crash was reported just about 7:30 a.m. near the courthouse in Trenton.
