The Craven County health complex that closed Monday after a thief stole copper from the building AC unit is now back open and cool again.
Craven County's manager tells WITN they have rented an AC unit for the next 5 to 10 days to provide cool air to workers and patients.
They hope to have the previous AC unit back up and running within ten days.
The rental was put in Tuesday by noon and the manager says by Wednesday morning the temperature inside the complex was 70 degrees.
The temperature inside the complex reached 87 degrees Monday when the AC went out.
