Craven County Cat Rescued After Week Stuck In A Tree

Anyone who has a pet knows they're just like a member of the family. One woman has been fighting to get help to rescue her cat that had been stuck in a tree for a week.

It happened in the Carolina Pines neighborhood in Craven County where Milkshake the cat went missing several days and the owner, Rachel Domann, says it took several days to convince someone to come get her cat out of the tree

The 8-year-old ragdoll mix cat who was rescued Wednesday morning after seven days where it was stuck nearly 60-feet off the ground in a tree.

Domann says, "People think animals aren't that big, but she's like my kid, so I sat out here all night long listening to her cry and nobody would help me. "

A tree service company came out Wednesday and took Domann up to the top of the tree where a happy ending rescue went flawless for Milkshake.
