Coast Guard Rescues Man From Fishing Boat After Seizure

The Coast Guard responded and rescued a 32-year-old man who is said to have had a seizure aboard a fishing boat.

Officials say that it happened Saturday, about 10-miles east of Cape Lookout around 2:15 p.m.

A 47-foot Motor Life Boat from Coast Guard Station Fort Macon arrived on scene and took the man from the boat to awaiting EMS at Fort Macon.

The man was taken to Carteret General Hospital in Morehead.
