Carteret County Man Arrested On Peeping Charges

A Carteret County man was arrested Monday after turning himself into authorities. He is accused of secret peeping and another charge that suggests his target was a minor.

According to police, 49-year-old James Bradley of Newport turned himself into authorities Monday night after being confronted by family and officers. He is now being held in Carteret County Jail and facing three charges of secret peeping and one for exploitation of a minor. His bond is set at $5,000.

Detectives say they seized multiple electronic devices from his home on Huntmaster Court, including cameras, laptops, and storage devices.

The SBI is investigating the items seized and depending on what they find there could be more charges.
