Car Crash Knocks Down Traffic Light Near ECU

Greenville police are directing traffic at Tenth Street and College Hill after a car crash knocked down a utility pole that was sending power to a traffic signal.

Dispatchers in the Greenville Utilities Control Room say their crews are working to replace the pole that came down, which they say was the result of a crash involving two cars shortly after 8 c'clock this morning.

Utility crews also removed the wire that had gotten knocked down onto one of the cars while a person was still inside. They say that person was not in danger.
