Bojangles' and the United Way are helping make sure all kids have the needed school supplies when classes start again with their "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive.
Despite the rain Saturday, people still came in to Bojangles' locations across Eastern Carolina to donate school supplies in exchange for a Bojangles' coupon.
Community Impact & Communications Director for United Way of Pitt County, Melissa Adamson, said, "Collecting school supplies is totally in our mission and we are very supportive of our local school system," and she continued, "We want to make sure all of our students have all the supplies they need to start off the school year successfully."
This is the first "Stuff the Bus" school supply drive. Bojangles' across Virginia and North Carolina participated.
