The soggy conditions in some areas of the east didn't bother one animal that you may not see very often in Eastern Carolina. A Bobcat.
Bob Daw from Beaufort County captured a Bobcat on video.
Daw says he shot the footage in Blounts Creek.
In the video you can see the rain really isn't deterring the cat, which Daw in the video calls, appropriately enough, Bob.
The NC Wildlife Resources Commission says, although Bobcats are found in a wide range of habitats in North Carolina, wooded habitats of the Coastal Plain and mountains support the largest numbers.
