Trawler Sinks In Oriental Harbor

The U.S. Coast Guard has placed booms around a boat that sank today in the Oriental harbor.

The Lady Barbara, a 71-foot trawler, was tied up at the dock when it sunk, according to the Coast Guard.

They say there was little fuel on board, and no one was injured. It is not yet known the exact amount of pollution might have made it into the Neuse River.

Reportedly, the boat has been at the dock for months after blowing an engine.
