Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday collide, as a growing number of national retailers won't wait for Friday before starting their Christmas sales.
Here's a rundown of the retailers changing their Black Friday hours this year.
Target will open at 9:00 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. The retailer is promising deep discounts on electronics and other items. They are also offering $10 gift cards to customers who spend $50 or more from 4:00 a.m. noon on Black Friday.
Toys 'R' Us, Wal-Mart, and Sears will open at 8:00 p.m. Thanksgiving night.
K-mart will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, then from 8:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. Thanksgiving night.
Macy's, Best Buy, and Kohl's all open at midnight.
Many of these retailers say t hey plan to stagger discounts throughout the holiday weekend.
