Beaufort Man Facing More Child Sex Charges

A man already charged with sex offenses with a 5-year-old is back behind bars, facing charges he engaged in sex acts with a 13-year-old girl.

William Frankle was arrested today by Carteret County deputies.

The 64-year-old man is charged with two counts of first degree statutory sex offense on a child and two counts of indecent liberties with a child.

Deputies says the latest offenses happened between last February and June of last year.

In November the man was charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with a child.

In both cases deputies say the victims were known to Frankle.

The Beaufort man's bond is now set at $300,000 and he has a first appearance on Monday.
