Beaufort County Man Named Marine Of The Year

Sergeant Daniel Dejong of Beaufort County has been named Marine of the Year for the United States Marine Corps 3rd Division.

Daniel is the son of the late, John Dejong and Pat Dejong who lives in Terra Ceia. His wife Savannah is from Plymouth. They both graduated from Terra Ceia Christian School and have a son. The third division consists of 15,000 men. The ceremony was Saturday at the USO in Honolulu Hawaii.
