Victims Identified In Deadly New Bern Shooting

FIRST ON WITN: Two Dead In New Bern Shooting

Two young adults were found dead Friday afternoon in New Bern, both had been shot.

The victims have been identified as 25-year-old Johnnie Exum Neely, of 1000 block of Simmons Street, and 20-year-old Brittany Nicole Jones, of 611 Julia Clay Street

Spokeswoman Colleen Roberts tells WITN News that police found the bodies on Julia Clay Street around 2:30 p.m.

Police are not saying much more about the deaths at this time.
