Assault Weapons Stolen From In-Home Gun Cabinet

Deputies said they are still looking for the crook who broke into a home and a wooden gun cabinet to steal six guns.

Deputies said around 2:30 on Monday morning, they got a call of a reported break-in on Spring Creek Road in Aurora. Deputies found a damaged door and a wooden gun cabinet with shattered glass panes. Missing from the gun cabinet: six firearms.

Deputies said four of the six guns stolen were assault-type weapons, including three rifles.
