An institution in one Eastern Carolina town will soon be closing.
Arnold's Family Restaurant has been a familiar stop for not only Richlands residents, but also for countless motorists who travel down Highway 24 & 258 in Onslow County.
The owner tells us they will start phasing out business this coming Sunday. Anola Swinson says a combination of heath and financial sustainability issues prompted her to retire.
The restaurant has been open for the past 48 years by the same family. Swinson's father, Arnold, operated it for many of those years.
Customers are sad. They will now have to go elsewhere for their favorite home style cooking.
