Armed Robbery Suspect Sentenced In Pitt County

One of the suspects in a hold-up outside a Greenville grocery store has now been sentenced.

Malik Maye, 19, of Raleigh was one of four suspects charged with holding up an ECU student outside the Harris Teeter on South Charles Boulevard in Greenville last May. Officials at the Pitt County jail say Maye was sentenced Tuesday to between 51 and 74 months behind bars.

Two of the other suspects in this armed robbery are due in court next month. The fourth was already convicted and is behind bars.
