Police say a man's distinctive walk gave him away and now he's behind bars, charged with an armed robbery.

Vanceboro Chief James Jenkins says Demetrius Woods was arrested last night for the December 20th robbery of their Dollar General.

Police released surveillance video of the gunman, and the chief credits leads from CrimeStoppers and the media for helping solve the crime.

Jenkins says the 23 year old man admitted robbing the business with a pistol and a box cutter.

He's in jail on a $25,000 secured bond.
