It's one of the most risky sports in America and it's coming to the East this weekend.
Austin Stewart is one of the cowboys participating in the Old Ford Fire Department's 21st Annual Rodeo.
Stewart says, "Bull riding is in the top five of the most dangerous things to ever do in the world. It's very dangerous. There have been a bunch of people who get killed in this line of work. You've got guys that are putting their life through this dream, all to win a gold buckle."
Cowboys and organizers say there's a lot happening at the Old Ford Rodeo this weekend in Williamston.
Jonathan Boyd says, "We're gonna have calf roping, steer wrestling, bull riding, bareback riding, barrel racing. Anything you would see on TV you're gonna see here. It's gonna be the full rodeo experience."
The rodeo raises money for the Old Ford Fire Department. Proceeds help to buy equipment and trucks throughout the year.
It begins at 8 p.m. Friday and will be followed by an afternoon and evening show on Saturday.
