10-Year-Old Boy Abducted, Found Early Monday Morning

Police said a boy missing from the Charlotte area has been found by the Fayetteville Police Department.

Charlotte Mecklenburg Police said 10-year-old Symiir Issa Speaks was abducted from 9545 Bird Watch Lane in Charlotte just before 6 Sunday evening.

Shortly before 3 a.m. Monday, police said the alert had been cancelled after the boy was found by Fayetteville police.

No other details have been released about the child's abduction or return.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department is searching for a missing child, Symiir Issa Speaks.

Symiir Issa Speaks is a 10-year-old black male, approximately 4 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 60 pounds. He has black hair, and brown eyes. Symiir was last seen wearing a yellow and gray polo shirt with khaki shorts. Symiir was also wearing black and orange sneakers.

Authorities believe Symiir is with an unidentified black woman with long hair, and they were last seen in a dark blue minivan.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
