Thick fog will develop across eastern Carolina though about 8:00 am Friday. Many areas will see visibility under 1/4 of a mile at times. Slow it down a bit and drive defensively until the fog lifts.
Light southwesterly winds will bring warm temperatures to eastern Carolina on Friday. Afternoon highs will reach the lower 70s inland and upper 60s along the beaches. Skies will be partly cloudy with just a stray shower possible. A cold front will approach the eastern Carolina by Saturday morning causing a few showers. Temperatures will return to the lower to middle 60s Saturday but much colder air will arrive by Saturday night and Sunday. Skies will be sunny on Sunday.
