A Chilly And Wet Wednesday Across Eastern Carolina

Low pressure moving northeast along a stationary front off the North Carolina coast will produce periods of rain through Wednesday evening. Light rain will develop overnight then become a bit heavier during Wednesday. The heaviest rainfall will fall along and east of Highway 17 but most locations should receive a soaking rain. The rain will end Wednesday night followed by some sunshine on Thursday. Temperatures will top out in the upper 40s Wednesday and lower 50s by Thursday afternoon.
