Jury selection begins Tuesday for Dock Watson. He's accused of attempted sexual assault against a woman in Chocowinity last summer.
Wednesday, the state will have their chance to present evidence against Watson. Officials say a plea in this trial could come as early as Thursday.
Watson is also charged with the rape of a clerk and robbery of the Pink Petal shop in downtown Washington last summer. A trial date for those charges has not been set.
