Dock Watson Gets Ready for Trial.

A Beaufort County man charged with two sexual assaults against women last summer will go to trial next week.

Superior Court is out Monday morning for the Labor Day holiday but first thing Tuesday; Dock Watson will go before Judge Clifton Everrett who will sift through jury selection suggestions from the prosecution and defense. Wednesday the state will have their chance to present their evidence against Watson who was arrested within feet of one of the attacks near a Chocowinity Middle School parking lot. Following the prosecution, the defense will reply and could enter their plea as early as Thursday. A judgment could be reached as early as Friday for Watson, but court officials say it's unlikely.
