Wilson Shows Off Environmentally Friendly School Bus
Some children in the east are now going to be bused to school using environmentally friendly transportation.

Some children in the east are now going to be bused to school using environmentally friendly transportation.
Wilson County's newest clean fuel school bus is one of six in the state that meets 2010 emission requirements.
The new buses were delivered to school districts in Wilson, Nash, Edgecombe and Pitt Counties Wednesday.
Wilson County Schools transportation director Jim Lewis says, "It's a step in the right direction to providing a cleaner environment for everyone and for the children because the exhaust fumes that come from school buses, that's been proven to contribute to cancer in children ."
The buses will start hitting the streets in August when school starts up again.

It's calle a cleaner environment. If kids would studay and learn during the school year, they wouldn't have to go to summer school. It's a no brainer... Kids need to study and buckle down more in school. Plain and simple, kids nowadays don't care.

So let me get this right the buses are not in compliance with emmissions test but we are having to with our cars before we register them.

well isn't that nice... budget cuts lead to no summer school and no funding for elective classes, but they got new buses! UGH- what is wrong with this picture?
