Emergency Program Singled Out

The state’s crime control and public safety deputy director got an update on Hurricane Frances in Onslow County Thursday.

Gerald Rudisill was there taking a look at Onslow County's unique military civilian task force for emergency response, also known as MCTIFFER. General Rudisill used to head North Carolina's National Guard. He says the task force for emergency response is one program that should be a model for disaster readiness, across the state and the nation.
