How are beach rentals along the Crystal Coast faring for the upcoming holiday weekend with Hurricane Frances looming in the Atlantic?
Several rental companies we spoke with at Atlantic Beach say, as of right now, they have not received any calls from renters canceling their reservations for the Labor Day weekend. But they say they have received calls asking about news on the storm, evacuation plans in the event the storm hits, and renters insurance.
However, some companies said reservations for this Labor Day weekend aren't looking as profitable as past year’s.
