Charlie Ogletree Takes Silver

Eastern Carolina native and Olympic gold medalist hopeful Charlie Ogletree competed in the final day of sailing in Athens, but the gold medal came up just out of his reach.

Ogletree was born in Greenville and raised in Columbia in Tyrrell County, but this month has been in Athens competing in the tornado sailing event. He and his teammate, John Lovell went into Saturday's final race in second place, and that's where they stayed when the race was over, bring home the silver medal for themselves and their country.

You can find the final results on www.olympics.com, and you can watch the Olympic Closing Ceremony right here on WITN 7.
