Man Guilty of Stealing Lingerie

A Craven County correctional officer pled guilty Wednesday to two counts of second-degree burglary.

Craven County District Attorney David McFayden says 35-year-old David Lupinek was charged with breaking into his neighbor's home in Tryon Estates and stealing her lingerie on two different occasions in early August.

Lupinek will receive three years probation, mental health treatment, and a fine. He has also resigned from his job at the jail in Vanceboro.
