Gas Station Robbed For Third Time

For the second time in one week, a Greenville gas station has been robbed at gunpoint.

Greenville Police say the Wilco Hess at 3000 South Memorial Drive was held up around 10:45 p.m. Monday. A robber held up the same gas station on August 28 at about the same time of the night. The station was also robbed on August 19, 2007. No arrests have been made in association with the hold-ups.

Usually this kind of theft is an inside job. Employees need to be checked. Theives know when to strike. Surveillance should be enforced. Two people should be working after 6pm. The company should protect their investments.

Was there no security features put in place after the first two incidents? This is a joke to these crooks now. Senseless.

The burglary obviously realizes that it can happen twice so why not a third?..Nothing was put into place to avoid it..thus, why not again? Family members are at risk! Something needs to be done to stop crime..reporting the occurence is not enough!
