Traditional Schools Versus Charter Schools

A new study says most students at North Carolina's charter schools would perform better if they stayed in traditional public schools. The study was co-authored by a Duke University professor who
Looked at year-to-year gains on state exams made by students who switched from traditional public schools to charter schools.
Duke professor Helen Ladd said the results show that most, but not all, students would do better in traditional public schools.
