Cheerleaders Look To The Community For Support

Local cheerleaders are looking to the community to help keep the school spirit alive.

One way to do that is with a monetary donation to your favorite squad. At Greenville Toyota, every Saturday this football season, a different Pitt County squad will sell southern style cook-out dinner plates and snacks to raise cash. The cheerleaders need financial support from the community in clothing their squads, buying equipment and paying travel accommodations for the entire team.

The fund raising efforts for all of the Pitt County cheerleading squads will last over the next six weeks. You can make a contribution at your local school or stop by the Greenville Toyota dealership every Saturday until football season ends.
