Democratic Presidential candidate John Kerry will be in Charlotte Thursday night where his campaign says he will start a fresh attack against critics of his war record.
Kerry was wounded in Vietnam and received five medals for his service. But his service has recently come under question in commercials paid for by supporters of President Bush. Kerry will appear at a community college Friday.
Meanwhile, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Dole held a news conference Thursday in Raleigh. She is challenging Kerry's war record and his flip-flopping over the war in Iraq.
