Rocky Mount Seeking Help On Drought

Rocky Mount is seeking help from Wilson for water.

Officials from both cities will meet later today to look at options available on how to get more water to Rocky Mount.

The city's reservoir is approaching record low levels. Already Rocky Mount residents are under mandatory water restrictions.

Wilson has a surplus of water, and Rocky Mount could purchase up to three million gallons of water a day from Wilson.

I would think that their drought would be over due to the week worth of rain. I really wish that rocky mount would stop being greedy because they are making customer bill very high for no reason for the people who stay in wilson. We have to pay for our use and theirs too my bill is always 300.00 dollars due to this borrowing water deal.
