Once a Category Four Hurricane, Charley was downgraded to a Tropical Storm Saturday afternoon as he rolled through Eastern Carolina. Fortunately, Charley did not leave behind much damage. Most people went about with their daily routines throughout Eastern Carolina and only stopped what they were doing when the storm beared down on their community. All of Eastern Carolina was under a tornado watch for much of the day.
