Indictments last week in a 15-year-old Beaufort County murder have given an Aurora woman hope that authorities will bring her brother's killer to justice.
Beaufort County authorities say Calvin Bynum was beaten to death with a crow bar inside his Beaufort County business in August of 1992. Authorities have received no new information about the murder, but Bynum's family says recent charges filed in a murder from that same year have given them hope.
"My gracious, it's been about that long since my brother has been dead," Daisy Clinton said. "I'm hoping that they find those killers because if they do a crime, I think they should pay for it."
Beaufort County sheriff's officials say new information is encouraged about the murder of Calvin Bynum or any other unsolved case.
